Due to expressed interest in my desktop posting, I just thought I'd let people know I have a gallery I'm keeping of screenshots I'm taking from the PS3 version of Tekken 6.

However, SPOILER WARNING, there are screenshots that give away crucial parts of the story.

I bought the game last week, and I hate it. I am furious with what they did to the story and the pathetic excuse for a revamped story-based mode we're given. The story itself had a lot of promise, but it just...ugh...don't get me started, I will never finish. Scenario Campaign is an abomination that has thoroughly ruined this game and series for me forever.

But I like screenshots, especially those of Jin and so will enjoy and take advantage of what I can of the parts I like of this game.

Edit 11/03/2009 - A bunch more have been added including a few requested prologue artworks. I forgot to grab one from Kazuya's so will probably add that later but probably won't do any others.

Edit 11/05/2009 - More added that include Kazuya's prologue art, proof Dragunov can talk from Devil Jin's interaction with him in Scenario Campaign, and Devil Jin's play-through interactions for Bryan's stage in Scenario Campaign.

Edit 11/12/2009 - A bunch added from Devil Jin's Scenario Campaign play-through, along with a few of my customizations. The beast-like Devil Jin was just for show for someone else, I don't actually use it. I've cooled off a little from my initial post. I'm still quite dissatisfied with how a lot of things were done in this game but am making the best of the situation. Devil Jin is quite deliciously evil in Scenario Campaign when playing as him in the little text interactions that happen, sometimes even to the point of being quite funny. I don't have the ones I find really funny yet, but I'll note it when I do.

Edit 12/11/2009 - Since last update, I suppose most of the additions have been customizations my fiance and I have done, so I didn't really announce that here. That aside, recently, the U.S. version for PS3 got some DLC including flags featuring Jin and Jun, Bryan, and Christie. The Jin and Jun flag is (stupidly) mislabeled as Jin and Asuka. TN people were curious to see the flags so I got some screenshots and figured I'd tell my DA friends as well.

I'm in between projects and have nothing I'm working on at the moment. Things look to remain that way for the next few months (pending any work I do on the TN comic) between games, wedding stuff, and the upcoming holiday season.

When not at work, I am usually playing Dissidia. I'm happy to say that I'm quite pleased with how this game turned out and look forward to playing it every night. Currently, I'm leveling up a bunch of the characters and/or looking for items in making better equipment. This could very well be my favorite game for 2009.

For the next few days, I'll have to cut back on playing and focus instead on sending out invitiations for my wedding (happening at the end of December). My fiance recently bought the second season of Boston Legal and has been wanting to watch that too.

There's only so many hours in an evening so I'll be quite busy tonight and tomorrow with the invitations, at least I should be, dinner with said fiance, and possible Boston Legal watching. Likewise, on Saturday, hopefully we can get more wedding stuff done though hopefully with a full day I can get a lot of Dissidia play time in too. My bridesmaid dresses are supposed to be in any day now so I should call up the bridal place I ordered from to see what's up with that.

The eternal wait for Tekken 6 is almost over. The handling of this game infuriates me to no end but as something I once looked forward to with the highest of hopes for a good year and a half, having the disheartening past year come to an end will be a relief. Spoiler-ish screenshots almost have me optimistic...but I've learned my lesson so instead will just have to wait and see for myself in 12 days.
